Ana Vodafone Login
Ana Vodafone could identify customers on mobile data—but switching to Wi-Fi broke that context and made login feel unexplained.
The problem
The password was not the problem. The unexplained interruption was.
On mobile data, Ana Vodafone could identify customers automatically. When the connection changed to Wi-Fi, that context disappeared and the app suddenly asked for credentials without explaining what had changed.
The broken handoff made a familiar journey feel like an error. It also exposed wider gaps across first-time registration, account recognition, network changes, and returning access—turning one interruption into a broader login redesign.
First-time access
Helping new customers get started without losing momentum.
The registration journey guided first-time customers from confirming their mobile number through verification, account setup, and profile completion. Each step focused on one clear action, while optional details stayed out of the critical path.

Why the revamp began
The journey was familiar. The rules changed with the network.
The redesigned experience separated the journey into two clear paths. On 5G, Ana Vodafone could recognize the customer's mobile number automatically, reduce manual entry, and reassure them that using the app would not consume their data allowance. Wi-Fi required a separate guided path for customers to identify themselves and continue securely.

Path 02 · Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi required a clear sign-in path.
Without network-based identification, customers entered their mobile number and password before continuing into the app.

Core problem · Mobile data to Wi-Fi
Switching networks should not feel like being logged out.
A customer could begin on mobile data, then move to Wi-Fi while the app was still open. Previously, that change interrupted identification without explaining what happened. We introduced a lightweight overlay that acknowledged the network change, preserved context, and guided the customer into the secure Wi-Fi sign-in path.

Biometric access
Enable it once. Return with a touch.
Biometrics became part of the login moment instead of a separate setup journey. After entering a password, customers could enable biometric access for that account without breaking their flow. On future visits, the app surfaced the saved account and moved directly to biometric confirmation, making the secure path back in feel immediate.

Solution summary
A clearer login journey.
Ana Vodafone Login
The solution separated mobile-data and Wi-Fi identification, explained what happened when the network changed, streamlined first-time registration, and embedded biometrics into login for faster returns. Together, these changes turned an unexplained interruption into a clear and secure journey.
